Level 2 Award in Swim Teaching Course at Afan Valley Swimming Pool
So you want to teach swimming? Fantastic, we provide the best opportunities for you to achieve your ambitions. We can help you start your journey as a swimming teacher. Our Level 2 Award is the ideal qualification to gain employment as a swimming teacher within private or public run swim Schools.
Date: Monday 21st February - Friday 25th February 2022
Time: 9.00am - 5.00pm
Cost: £375 per person (also need to have membership with the STA - approx £48 for the year)
Candidates need to be over 16 years old and able to commit to all those dates and times. No previous experience needed.
RLSS National Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) (inc. AED, Spine Board and First Aid)
Lifeguards benefit from varied working hours which you can easily fit around your other commitments, working within a team and there’s also the opportunity to progress your career within the leisure industry as most leisure managers start off as Pool Lifeguards.
Date: Monday 7th February - Friday 11th February 2022
Time: 9.00am - 5.00pm
Cost: £275 per person
Candidates need to be over 16 years old and able to commit to all those dates and times. Able to swim 100m. Tread water for 30 seconds. Surface dive into the pool.
